Well...It's me, Alien.
Woot woot! It's a festival day!
Alien went to the Japan Fest 2015 organized by Milwaukee Japanese Association.
Japan-loving Alien can't miss the event!
Wow the event is very popular. So many people out there.
The event space was filled with many booths.
At the pottery booth.
Everything is hand-made!
Great works... Alien bought small bowls.
Alien met daruma dolls.
If you don't know about daruma dolls, you can read: Daruma doll - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Daruma dolls have white eyes.
Alien want to draw pretty green eyes on them. They must be cute like Alien.
This space is for Doyo-kai, a Saturaday Japanese school.
Kids can learn caligraphy in the US!
This booth introduces culture of Akita prefecture.
Please make Alien's mask next time.
There was a performance space.
This was a performance by "Anaguma-Eisa," a group of Okinawa drum players.
They danced and drumed. Their sounds were perfect for the festival!
This was a performance by "Hibiki," a group of Japanese drum players in Milwaukee.
Alien love the sounds of taiko drums.
Yummy Japanese foods is another fun part of the Japan Fest.
There were yakisoba, yakiudon (fried noodle), California rolls, curry & rice, beef bowl, takoyaki (octopus dumpling), cakes, breads, rice balls, etc. etc.
Alien's choice was this.
Alien got Japanese sweets. A box of hand-made Japanese sweets and a cup of cold green tea.
Alien was so happy to enjoy Japanese sweets in the US! Yum yum yum.
Stranger young guys talked to Alien when Alien enjoyed the Japanese sweets at a table.
They told Alien they read this blog.
