Great Lakes Distillery, Milwaukee
Well...It's me, Alien.
Beauty of the machines.
Alien found an unique bike stops when Alien took a walk in Milwaukee downtown.
Bottles?
Alien found a distillery on a hill.
The bottles are spirit bottles.
The distillery offers tours. Alien must be in!
Alien paid $7 and received a ticket. The next tour will start a while later.
Alien looked around the shop and bar till the tour begins.
A view from a window.
Excied for the tour.
Popcorn machine, operating.
Free bottomless popcorn!
Alien had a drink at the bar.
Today's special: Lavender Collins.
Lavender-infused gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Very refleshing. Alien could feel the beginning of summer.
At the gift shop.
Do people bring babies to distillery tours?
Oh Milwaukee... one of the most drunk city in the U.S.
They have tables outside.
Oh, the tour will start soon. Let's go.
The tour guide took Alien and other visitors to their distillery.
They make all of their bottles with this machine.
The company was established in 2004. 16 employees, and only 2 of them are distillers.
Very micro, relatively new company, but it is the very first distillery in Wisconsin after the Prohibition.
This machine is for making whiskey.
It has not operated yet though.
The tour guide said they want to start distilling whiskey soon.
These machines are for fermentation.
This distillery ferments wheat to product their sprits.
Barrel, barrel, and barrel.
Sprits with colors (e.g. rum and whiskey) are in the barrels.
Their colors are from the barrels.
The tour was finished. Now, time for tasting!
Visitors can try six kinds of their spirits.
Excited.
The tour guide first poured vodka from wheat in Alien's glass.
Wow... strong. A hint of citrus.
The second one was flavored vodka.
Alien could tell citrus and honey flavor.
It was a bit easier to drink than the first vodka.
The third one, Gin.
Woooooo alcohol! A hint of ginger.
The fourth one, rum.
Now Alien am drunk. Alien can't hold eye contacts.
Barrel-aged rum. It was slightlly brown.
The fifth one, whiskey.
Woozy.
Alien am not a whiskey person (well, Alien am not even a person, anyway...)
And the last drink was...absinthe.
Absinthe is clear-green spirit, but it gets cloudy when it is mixed with water.
Oh, it is...
The first sip was intense, to be honest, nasty. However, it gradually got tasty. Alien could actually tell sweetness in the last sip.
Tempting, but risky taste.
The tasting was over.
Alien got completly drunk. Woozy.
Oh, here is a nice place to rest.
Ha, you also took much alcohol, neighbors.
