Quebec City Quebec, Canada
Well...It's me, Alien.
This blog ranked first in "Canada trip" category of Blog Mura (Japan's blog ranking system).
…It lasted just for a day though.
Well...Alien did not write posts about Canada recently.
Alien am going to write a post about Canada today to celebrate the first place.
Photos used today were taken about a year ago. Alien in the photos look a bit younger.
Alien went to Quebec City in Canada.
Alien in the pretty and fancy city.
Bonjour.
French is the first language in Quebec.
Alien was walking arond the fancy city. How fancy Alien was.
This is Chateau Frontenac, a landmark old hotel in Quebec City.
Alien had lunch at a restaurant called Brynd Smocked Meat.
It was in walking distance from signtseeing area.
Their webpage (in French):
Their smoked meat sandwich.
How meat!
This is Poutine, a Canadian famous food.
Fries topped with gravy sauce and cheese curds.
It was yum yum. Good with beer.
Alien visited Quartier du Petit Champlain, the oldest business district in North America.
Fancy & Pretty.
Every store there was picturesque.
Alien could walk to all sightseeing spots, but there were many hills.
Visitors can take this cable railway called Funicular when they get tired.
Funicular... Alien like its pronunciation. It sounds very cute.
Alien found an open space with this wallpicture.
It was a good photo-taking spot.
Alien climbed a small hill.
Alien then found a nice view.
Bonjour. Merci beaucoup.
Alien just wanted to say French words Alien knew.
It was getting dark outside.
Alien went to a restaurant called Le casse crepe breton.
Their website (in English):
http://www.cassecrepebreton.com/index_en.html
Alien planned to have a snack there, but it was aleady dinner time.
They offer main crepes as well as dessert crepes.
Alien orded roast beef cheese onion crepe (left) and ham & cheese crepe (right).
Both were very yum yum.
Quebec City was a very fancy and pretty city.
It used to be a walled city.
Let's go to the universe.
