Alien's Cooking ~California Rolls~

Well... It's me, Alien. 

Alien made California rolls. 

Alien can get all the ingredients in the U.S. 

How to roll rolls. 

First, Alien covered the "makisu" (bamboo-made tool for sushi rolls) with a piece of plastic wrap.

Alien put a sheet of seaweed on the plastic wrap and spreaded vinegared rice over it. 

How to cook vinegared rice.

Mix sushi vinegar and cooked rice (rice must be hot). Cool the rice down. A fan might be a good tool. 

Alien can buy sushi rice at supermarkets nearby. Alien can buy a large bag of rice, about $15, if Alien go to an Asian grossary store.

Alien don't have a rice cooker, but Alien can cook rice with a cooking pot.   

Alien can buy sushi vinegar at any grosarry stores. Alien prefer a bit sweeter vinegared rice, so Alien add some sugar. 

Next, Alien spreaded sesame over the rice. 

Then, Alien fliped the rice with sesame and seaweed. 

Next, Alien put fillings.

Alien used imitation crab meat sticks, sweeten scrambled eggs, and avocado this time. Cucumber would be a good addition.   

Alien put a small amount of rice as glue. 

 Then, Alien roll the roll!

First, Alien rolled a half of it from Alien's side. Alien tightened it up. 

Then, Alien rolled the other half from the other side. 

Shape the roll, and cut it with the plastice wrap.

It would be easy to cut with a wet knife.   

Cut the roll with pieces. Then, it is ready to serve.

Alien sometimes bring sushi rolls to potluck parties. Good times.
