Zion National Park, Utah
Well...It's me, Alien.
Great nature.
Alien enjoyed Vegas.
Now let's rent a car and go to enjoy great nature in Grand Circle.
Let's go!
Alien said good-bye to crowded Vegas and got to a highway.
Alien enjoyed scenery, which was very different from Wisconsin's, while driving.
Rocky mountain!
Alien stopped at St. George town after two-hour drive from Vegas.
Let's have an early lunch here.
Most of restaurants in the town were closed because it was Christmas day.
Oh this place is open! Bear Paw Cafe? Let's get in.
It was crowded, a good sign of yummy foods.
Let's order.
Alien had Ham Tomato Panini, $8.95
Huge!
Mexican toppings on Italian sandwich. Spicy, salty, and yummy.
Alien also had Turkey Club, $8.95, added avocado for $1.
Huge!
Alien was happy with the layer of turkey and bacon. Fries were fresh and yum yum.
Alien drove another 1 hour from St. George and got to Alien's destination.
Alien came to Zion National Park.
Mountains!
Alien paid admission fee at the entrance and drove into the park. Private vehicles are allowed only during winter. Visitors have to take shuttles during summer.
There are several viewpoints in the park.
Alien drove to Riverside Walk, which was recommended for novice hikers.
Driving betwen the mountains!
Spectacular!
Alien found a space in the parking lot.
Let's walk.
Steep cliff!
Alien could see strata very clearly.
Spectacular.
Overwhelmed.
Alien could see rocky mountains back of the beyond.
Beautiful.
Summer is peak season here, but Alien love winter mountains.
Well, Alien did wonder why Alien came to such a cold place. This could be a great chance to leave cold Wisconsin...
Alien stopped at another viewpoint.
Alien tried to take a panoramic photo.
Does it tell you how great the place is?
Mormon settlers gave religious names to the mountains.
That mountain surely looks holy.
That white rock is named "The Great White Throne."
Sure, it is outstandingly white.
Well...The Great White Throne's shape and color are similar to Alien!
Alien want to become a holy being like the white throne.
