Alien arrived at ByWard markt, a famous market place in Ottawa.

Let's eat someting first. Alien am hugry.

La Bottega, an Italian grocery right across the street the market building is on. 

This grocery has an eat-in lunch counter at the inmost corner.

Alien ordered a today's special, eggplant parmesan.

12 CAD.

Rich tomato sauce goes with parmesan cheese really well!

And the topped basil leaves add great flavor!

It's... yum yum yum yum!!!

A presumably Italian madam managed the counter.

Alien guess their foods are real Italian. Alien recommend this place.

 

Now Alien am full. It's time to explore the market!

In front of the market building.

There are a coffee shop and an icecream shop nearby.

Let's get in!

Alien found a decoration on the ceiling.

Oh... are these red stains on an apron blood spots? 

 There are many booths around the market building.

It's a farmers' market.

Alien found fresh vegetables with reasonable prices.

Flower shops. 

Alien also found a place with artistic atmosphere.

Well... Alien got hungry again, maybe because Alien had only one dish for lunch.

Let's have an early dinner.

There are so many restaurants and bars in the market.

Alien chose here, Lowertown Brewery, because Alien was trapped by the word "brewery".

Let's have a pint first. Cheers!

PBLT stands for Pork Belly Lettuce Tomato. 

Cranchy grilled thick bacon was yum yum.

 Alien got full again. Let's find a souvenir. 

What souvenir is the best for Alien?

Maple syrups? Canada is famous for it.

Or "Obama cookie"?  President Obama bought the cookies when he visited here.

It may be a good option.

Those are very common though. Alien want someting unique and special.

Is there a special souvenir for Alien?

Alien bet they sell fancy souveniors.
