Alien's Cooking ~Tako Party~
Well...It's me, Alien.
The round-shape is somewhat familar.
Alien had a "Tako" Party the other day.
Alien made tacos and "takoyaki" for the party. "Tako" means octopus in Japanese and "takoyaki" is a round-shaped pancake with octopus inside.
Let's start cooking.
Alien first made batter for takoyaki. Alien put flour, eggs, water, and fish broth.
Mix it well.
Alien then boiled octpus.
Alien bought frozen octpus in an Asian grocery.
The octpus had black ink inside.
Uhhh it looks like poisonous soup...
Done.
It may look grose for people who don't have culture to eat octpus.
Let's cook tacos.
First, taco meat!
Ground beef, onion, and garlic.
Cook, put spice and ketchup, and cook.
Smells Mexican.
Next, let's make salsa sauce.
Garlic, onion, green pepper, and tomato.
Alien learned "salsa" means sauce in Spanish. Salsa sauce means sauce sauce.
Mix with salt and lemon juice.
Leave it for about 10 minutes and done.
Don't forget lettuce.
This machine drains off water from lettuce.
Everything got prepared.
Let's have a Tako Party!
Let's eat a taco first.
Alien can get tortilla in any grocery in the U.S. Alien cooked the tortillas with a pan.
Taco meat...
Salsa sauce...
Lettuce and cheese...
Let's eat!
It was a bit hard to eat. That was part of fun in the party.
Let's make takoyaki next.
This takoyaki machine came from Japan.
Watch out not to burn takoyaki. Voltage in the U.S. is a bit higher than one in Japan. .
Someone was working hard to flip takoyaki.
The outcome of the hard work (by someone, not Alien).
Let's put sauce, mayo, sea weed, and fish flake.
Alien don't put mayo since Alien am not a fan of mayo.
No mayo!
Takoyaki and Alien...
Our shapes are alike, but Alien don't have octpus inside. Alien have cotton...oops, not cotton but curiosity inside.
