Alien's Cooking ~Dumpling~
Well...It's me, Alien.
Alien love to eat, but Alien like to cook as well.
Cooking is Alien's hobby.
Well, Alien want to introduce what Alien cooked.
Dumpling.
Alien am investigating the United States, but Alien can get dumpling skin at organic supermarkets.
Alien sometimes make dumpling skin from scratch, but Alien was busy on that day. Alien bought dumpling skin at a store.
Alien wrapped them up.
Recipe.
Mince 6-7 leafs of nappa cabbage. Put salt and leave the nappa cabbage for a while to dewater the nappa cabbage. Squeeze the nappa cabbage gently. Leave some water in it.
Add minced green onion.
Chinese chive might taste better, but Alien cannot find it in supermarkets here.
Grind pork, 1 pound
Alien can get it at supermarkets here. Alien cannot find it sometimes though, probably because of low demand.
Add the followings to the grind pork:
Grated ginger, 1 tea spoon
Granted garlic, 1 tea spoon
salt and peppar, adequate dose
Sake, 3 table spoons
Sesame Oil, 3 table spoons
Soy sause, 3 table spoons
Oyster sauce, 3 table spoons
Mix them up well.
Add the veg you prepared. Mix them up.
Then, your filling is done.
Wrap the filling into dumpling skin.
Then, heat a pan, put some oil, put dumplings, add water (about 1/4 cup, depending on size of your pan). Cover the pan and cook the dumplings till water evaporates. Cook till the downsides become golden brown.
Alien cooked dumplings.
Pretended Alien was an owner of a ramen restaurant... (So many Japanese ramen shop owners take photos with this gesture. Alien don't know why.)
Cooked with a "feather." (Alien added a table spoon of flour to water when Alien cooked them.)
Hand-made dumpling in U.S....yum yum.
It is fun to wrap dumplings.
Alien am deft, actually.
