Hanayashiki in Asakusa & Kaguwa show restaurant in Ropponki, Japan
Well...It's me, Alien.
Alien came to Asakusa.
Asakusa is a popular sightseeing spot in Tokyo.
Looking around Nakamise and Sensoji temple is nice but too common.
Alien rather went to...
Hanayasiki, the Japanese oldest amusement park located in Asakusa.
Excited with a 1-day pass.
Alien first went to Ninja maze. That's new.
Aien needed additional fee for this.
Visitors pick a course at the entrance. Alien picked the blue one (difficult one).
Let's collect three stamps and find a goal.
Excited for an adventure.
Inside of the maze.
Many dead ends.
Alien solve traps and move ahead.
Locked door.
Moving like a ninja.
Oops.
Alien collected stamps.
The first one!
The second!
Oh this is not blue...
Yay the last one!
And then Alien found a door for goal.
Ring ring!
The sound of goal-making.
This maze was easy for Alien. Alien am super smart 10-year old.
Kids on the earth would enjoy it.
Let's enjoy rides.
This is "ghost thriller cars."
Old carts get into the dark ghost house.
The ghosts were not scary, but worrying if the old cart stops in the middle of the dark house was scary.
This is another haunted house Visitors walk around and see Japanese ghosts. No cars.
…That was scarier than Alien expected. Alien screamed a lot!
Alien am usually calm and cool but... It was very scary.
The Japanese ghosts might be surprised when they saw Alien screaming.
This is called "Surprising house." This is common in Japanese amusement parks, but Alien hasn't experienced it yet.
…That was surprising. Did Alien spin or the house?
Some people may feel sick.
Let's ride the tower next.
Alien am not afraid of height.
The rides are candy houses.
Feel like Alien am in a fairly tale.
Spin and rise, very slowly.
Alien could see Sky Tree and Sensoji.
Let's try more.
Spin and refresh.
Let's do more spins.
Very refreshing.
Alien wanted to ride the Japanese oldest roller coaster, but it was close on that day. Too bad.
Let's get into the building.
Giant squid versus sperm whale?
Let's watch.
Alien could watch a 3D video. Not too bad.
"Ghost house" was next.
Let's go.
In the ghost house.
Sounds from the earphones and room lighting created scary atmosphere.
Alien feel nostalgy for the old devices.
Hanayashiki is not a place to enjoy newest rides. This is a place to enjoy nostaligic rides and atmpsphere.
Let's play retro games.
10 yen for one play.
This panda ride also creats nostalgic atmosphere.
Easy moving.
Alien enjoyed Hanayashiki.
Alien wanted to enjoy more Japanese things. Alien went to a theme restaurant in Roppongi.
This is Kaguwa, a Japan-themed restaurant. This is a popular bus tour stop for visitors from oversea.
Alien made a reservation.
This is photos of actors. They do shows.
Many!
From Alien's seat.
The stage is big for a restaurant.
Appetizers and all-you-can-eat drinks included.
Alien enjoy foods and drinks till the show begins.
And the show begins!
No phtos though. Photo-taking was not allowwed during the show.
Alien was impressed by the stage devices.
Dance and short stories. It was not an "Oiran" show Alien expected. Dancers with kimoro-like dresses performed.
Alien don't think this is traditional Japanese culture, but the show was worth watching.
Alien could take photos after the show.
Great job~
Performers come to tables after the show.
Photo with a good guy.
Photo with a nice guy... oops, nice lady.
Alien was nervous to see performers who did great on the stage a few minutes ago. Alien could not smile naturaly in the photos.
Alien need to practice smiling!
